Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 22 May 2026
Our Commitment
NXXA Partners AB is committed to ensuring that The High Roller's Guide is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
This statement also reflects our commitment to compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) (Directive (EU) 2019/882), which applies to digital services from 28 June 2025, and the equivalent Swedish implementing legislation.
Conformance Status
This Site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some content does not fully meet the standard. We are actively working to address these gaps.
Accessibility Features
The following features are implemented to support accessibility:
- Semantic HTML: Pages use appropriate heading hierarchies (H1–H3), landmark regions, and semantic elements to aid screen reader navigation.
- Alternative text: All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes.
- Colour contrast: We aim for a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 criterion 1.4.3.
- Keyboard navigation: Core navigation and interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Focus states are visible on interactive elements.
- Responsive design: The Site adapts to different screen sizes and supports zoom up to 400% without loss of content or functionality.
- No autoplay audio: The Site does not play audio automatically. The scroll-driven video hero uses a silent canvas animation (no audio component).
- Reduced motion: We respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Users who have indicated a preference for reduced motion will experience reduced animation.
- Language declaration: The page language is declared in the HTML element, aiding screen readers in using the correct language profile.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
- Scroll-driven video hero: The canvas-based video animation on the homepage does not have a text or audio alternative describing its content. We are evaluating appropriate alternatives.
- Third-party content: Advertisements served by Google Ads may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We have no direct control over the accessibility of third-party advertisement content.
- Colour-only information: Some UI elements (such as the gold colouring used to indicate active navigation items) may rely on colour alone. We are reviewing these elements.
- Complex tables: Data tables on certain pages (such as specifications tables in watch and hotel reviews) may not have complete programmatic associations for all screen reader software.
Compatible Technologies
This Site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browser combinations:
- NVDA + Chrome (Windows)
- JAWS + Chrome or Edge (Windows)
- VoiceOver + Safari (macOS and iOS)
- TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
We test with modern browser versions. Older browsers (Internet Explorer 11 and below) are not supported.
